Flowy Skirts

hellolyndseyOUTFIT DETAILS: Ross black dress (worn as a top), Ross belt, Thrifted skirt, Flea Market gladiators, JCPenney necklace, Thrifted gold bangles, Gifted gold bracelet from my love.
Hello dolls! I'm back today in a much better mood (and outfit!) I posted on Pinterest that I was going to fill my closet full of frilly maxi skirts.. whala! I've been hoarding them in from thrift stores for months in preparation for spring! It was 78 degrees in Georgia today so that definitely means that it will be one hot hot hot summer this year. Basically, we have 6 months of summer (from late May-October) instead of three. Not looking forward to the 95 degree and up weather (+ the humidity.. ugh) but I guess I'll survive just like I did last year! Haha.

  3. Such a gorgeous outfit! I love those sandals too. Up here in Canada it probably won't be that warm until at least mid-May, but I'll start wearing skirts and sandals probably near the beginning of April, weather permitting, and I can't wait! You're making me think I need to get some maxi skirts..

  9. More absolutely stunning pictures Lyndsey!! You are on a roll lady:) I'm in love with maxi skirts...argh, but if only I was taller than 5'2 I might look half as amazing as you do! This one reminds me of several I had back in high school....they were the comfiest thing ever. I would wear them all summer long then our youth group would take a missions trip to somewhere in latin america and we would end up leaving our clothing down there for the local people. All my skirts like this were donated down there....sad to say goodbye of course, but happy to leave them for someone who needed them much more than I did. Oh my, what a book I just typed...bottom line: the skirt rocks and you look like a boho beauty here Lyndsey!! :)

  11. Pretty pretty!! You look like a bohemian princess!

Despite all the heat, I am looking forward to long summer days when I can get away with wearing a flowy/maxi skirt and not caring. It does take less effort to put together looks in the summer. I guess that season has it's perks! haha

Our weather has been very mild all week. Really crazy windy too! Spring is already on the way, but we never really did get winter!

(Just realized I mentioned 3 seasons in one comment. That's surely a record or something!)

  12. I always tell people that we have summer for half the year here! I'm glad somebody else agrees! I'm really hoping this warm weather right now doesn't mean it's going to be 100+ all summer long... I think it's supposed to cool down for a little bit after this heat we're getting right now luckily.
Also, that black top is so flattering and you're rocking that maxi skirt!
